Music Ministry
Music has always been an important part of worship at St. Paul’s. The congregation enjoys singing the older hymns and has learned some contemporary ones as well. While the choir had to take a break during Covid, it is now providing anthems, sometimes weekly. St. Paul’s now has a Gettysburg College student, Scott Myers, to play piano most Sundays. In addition, a retired master organist, Scott Fredericks, plays the organ once a month as he is able. Our worship leader Deb Stock has been directing the choir for over ten years. She is always looking for people to join the choir to “make a joyful noise to the Lord.” We welcome anyone who loves to “sing unto the Lord” whether in key or not and whether you read music or not.
